You can follow the below steps for physical inventory
1. Create a physical inventory document
You can create a physical inventory document via transaction MI01 then you can enter the document date, planned count date, plant, and storage location. You may block the posting by checking the posting block checkbox, as shown in below figure. After you can press enter and in the next screen, you can enter the material number for which you wish to do a physical inventory and then save. This will create a physical inventory document, which may be printed via Transaction MI21.
2 Enter the physical inventory count
Here you can enter the count result for the material via transaction MI04 as shown in the figures

3 Post the difference
By using transaction MI07 you can post the difference as shown in the figure. The system will automatically generate the material & account documents
